Content Creation
Consistent colour across every image and frame — exactly as it should look.
Color correction is the technical baseline retouching builds on. Where retouching fixes specific problems in an image, color correction makes sure the image is accurate in the first place — correct white balance, neutral skin tones, blacks that are actually black, whites that aren’t blown out, and exposure that matches across a set.
This matters most when images are used together. A product page with twelve photos shot under different lighting conditions looks amateurish if each image has its own color cast. We correct each frame against a consistent target so the set reads as one cohesive shoot. Color grading (which is a separate creative step, sometimes layered on top) is where stylistic looks get applied — warm and filmic, cool and editorial, high-contrast and punchy. We do both, but we always correct first.
Deliverables
We establish the target — reference images, brand color standards, and the intended feel — before any adjustment is made.
White balance, exposure, and noise assessed across the raw material — every technical issue identified before correction begins.
Exposure, white balance, and contrast brought to a clean, accurate baseline — blacks that are black, whites that aren’t blown.
Stylistic look applied consistently across the set — warm and filmic, cool and editorial, high-contrast and punchy, whatever the brief calls for.
Corrected and graded files in every required format, plus custom LUT files for consistency on future productions.
