Branding
Fades & Fros is a Boca Raton barbershop that needed an identity as sharp as the work done inside. The challenge was building something that felt authentic to the culture of the chair — not a generic scissors-and-comb mark, but a visual language rooted in craft, community, and pride in the full range of styles the shop serves.
The identity is anchored by two illustrated portrait silhouettes — one a clean fade, one a full afro — that together say everything about what the shop does and who it’s for. A bold cobalt and ink-black palette, diagonal stripe patterns, and a mixed type system created tension between classic and contemporary. The result is a brand that holds its own on merch, signage, print, and screen without losing its edge.
Outcomes: A complete brand identity — logo, style guide, collateral, signage, and merchandise — built for a barbershop that treats the cut as culture.
